Encoda is pleased to announce Blake Howard as our new Chief Financial Officer.
Blake joins us with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, from both a financial and information technology perspective. Blake’s two most recent positions, spanning 13 years, were with private equity backed physician roll-up groups, Women’s Care Enterprises of Tampa and 21st Century Oncology of Ft. Myers, where Blake served as VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and Interim CFO. In addition to the needed skill sets as CFO, Blake brings to Encoda a wealth of knowledge in databases and financial reporting.
Blake’s financial career spans 20+ years, building and leading strong growth companies through complex financial restructurings, capital raises, and rapid expansions; including working with multi-state physician groups and managed services organizations.
“It was critically important to us in this strategic hire, that we not only added a talented and experienced financial leader to our executive team, but that we did so with an individual that is committed to making a positive impact on physician reimbursement and one who is committed to continually improving the day-to-day experience for our valued Encoda team. Blake clearly has this passion, and we are excited about the impact he will have for our associates and our valued clients”, states Michael Kallish, CEO of Encoda.
Blake earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Central Arkansas, a Master’s in Business Administration for the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
