The announcement follows the organization’s ongoing expansion to address the increasing need to give practices complete visibility into their revenue cycle and integrated workflow tools to ensure they get paid efficiently and profitably by the payers.
TAMPA, Fla., OCTOBER 29, 2024 – Encoda, a leader in healthcare reimbursement technology, has announced that Tim Jones has been named as the organization’s new Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Tim will assume management of marketing, sales growth, team performance, and client retention across the organization.
The announcement comes as Encoda celebrates significant expansion and growth fueled by the company’s innovative technology to give practices complete visibility into their revenue cycle with integrated workflow tools that increase net collections from payers, decrease days in AR and improve team productivity
“This is an exciting inflection point for Encoda,” said Lisa Taylor, CEO of Encoda. “Over the last year, we’ve refined our focus and experienced tremendous growth in helping providers get paid every penny they’ve earned from payers, sooner and with less effort. Tim’s go-to-market expertise and proven track record of revenue growth and retention will further accelerate our reach across the physician practice management landscape.
Tim’s extensive background as Chief Revenue Officer highlights his expertise in driving revenue growth and scaling go-to-market strategies. With over 15 years of experience in sales for private equity-backed enterprise SaaS companies, he has a proven track record in leadership roles. Most recently, Tim served as Chief Revenue Officer at Aidéo, a leader in AI-driven autonomous medical coding for the revenue cycle industry. Prior to that, he served as VP of Sales at iN2L, where he also worked alongside Lisa, focusing on engagement solutions for the senior living sector. With additional roles selling SaaS EHR solutions, Jones also spent eight years with SaaS healthcare workforce enablement solution provider, Relias, during which the company achieved explosive revenue growth and became a dominant market leader.
“I am excited to join Encoda as Chief Revenue Officer and look forward to building on the momentum Lisa and team have achieved over the last year,” said Jones. “Many healthcare revenue cycle processes are antiquated and labor intensive. Encoda is uniquely positioned to ensure providers are wholly compensated for the vital services they perform while doing so in an efficient, cost-saving manner.
Tim’s experience spans the healthcare continuum working with customers in ambulatory, post-acute care, acute, payers, and behavioral health settings. He holds an MBA from Alfred University and a BA in Communications from Mansfield University, with extensive training in several high-value consultative Sales Process Methodologies.
